About BCM - Shorter University

Shorter University ’s BCM is open to all students regardless of denominational background. The mission of Baptist Collegiate Ministries is for college students to seek God, share the Gospel, and serve others.

BCM is student led, Christ centered and church related. To meet Shorter’s BCM leadership council, click here.

We seek to help students to grow inwardly through such activities as discipleship, family groups, Bible studies and prayer groups. Weekly worship services, community ministries and missions highlight some of the corporate ways students can grow in their faith.

In addition, we strongly encourage students to be actively involved in a local church.

Please download the following form, print it out, fill it in and return it to Fitton Student Union, Room 203. A BCM representative will be in touch with you to discuss your interest in BCM. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!

Lunchbox is a BCM Bible study held every Friday morning at 11:15 am in the Downstairs FSU conference room. Lunch is provided for students to eat and fellowship together before having a brief Bible study.
